The story of the broken vase comes in the Introduction to Sayers’ translation of Dante’s Purgatory. It is in the section headed “Purgatory: the Doctrine”, which begins on page 54 of the Penguin edition. My feling is that Sayers’ actual translation of Dante hasn’t worn well, but her Introduction and Notes are still the best ones around.
Resurrection is Now was printed privately by Downside Abbey and their bookshop has long since run out of copies. You can read it in daily instalments in the Universalis apps and programs, using the Daily Books feature, which you can read about here.
You can also get this book in e-book form.
These pages have fewer features than the apps, and some pages (such as Spiritual Reading) are not available.
