Making a donation
Universalis tries to live from its apps and programs. Any profit it makes goes to help a family we got to know who had lost everything and were in great need: it helps them as, with courage and staggeringly hard work, they rebuild their lives. This is not an official charity but it is indispensable to those who benefit.
Apart from the apps and programs there is a great deal of Universalis material, such as the weekly podcasts, which we give to everyone, free of charge.
We don’t expect everyone to offer donations, so if you don’t feel like donating, don’t. On the other hand, any donations you choose to make to support Universalis and its work will be very much appreciated.
Some people donate a small amount regularly; others, a larger amount from time to time. We really don’t mind which, and we will be equally grateful whatever you decide to do.
To donate by credit card
- Please send us an email at universalis@universalis.com
- Tell us how much you would like to donate. You can tell us the amount in pounds, or in your own currency and we’ll convert it (just tell us which currency).
- We will send you a link. You can click on that link to make the payment.
Our payment processors, WorldPay, will collect your card details and charge your card. Your card details remain secret: we never see them.
- We don’t have a direct “Pay” button on this web page because we want to make sure that a donation is being made by a human being. It also makes it easier for us to say “Thank you.”
To donate by bank transfer

- We will send you our bank details.
- You can choose how much to give, and when.
We are in the UK, so bank transfer works best from UK-based bank accounts.
Regular donations
If you would like to make a regular donation, let us know when you write to us. We don’t have any mechanism that would charge you automatically, and every donation will have to be authorised by you, specifically, each time. But we don’t mind sending you reminders if that helps.
