Rerum, Deus, fons ómnium,
qui, rebus actis ómnibus,
totíus orbis ámbitum
censu replésti múnerum,
Ac, mole tanta cóndita,
tandem quiétem díceris
sumpsísse, dans labóribus
ut nos levémur grátius:
Concéde nunc mortálibus
deflére vitæ crímina,
instáre iam virtútibus
et munerári prósperis,
Ut cum treméndi iúdicis
horror suprémus cœ́perit,
lætémur omnes ínvicem
pacis repléti múnere.
Præsta, Pater piíssime,
Patríque compar Unice,
cum Spíritu Paráclito
regnans per omne sǽculum. Amen.

Holy God, we praise thy name;
Lord of all, we bow before thee!
All on earth thy sceptre own,
All in heaven above adore thee.
Infinite thy vast domain,
Everlasting is thy reign.
Hark! the loud celestial hymn,
Angel choirs above are raising;
Cherubim and seraphim,
In unceasing chorus praising,
Fill the heavens with sweet accord:
Holy, holy, holy, Lord.
Holy Father, holy Son,
Holy Spirit, three we name thee.
While in essence only one
Undivided God we claim thee;
And adoring bend the knee,
While we own the mystery.
Spare thy people, Lord, we pray,
By a thousand snares surrounded;
Keep us without sin today;
Never let us be confounded.
Lo, I put my trust in thee;
Never, Lord, abandon me.

God the SaviourThe Son of God learned to obey through suffering, and he became the source of eternal salvation for all those who obey him. Alleluia.
Blessed be God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
who has blessed us, in Christ,
with every spiritual blessing in heaven.
In love, he chose us before the creation of the world,
to be holy and spotless in his sight.
He predestined us to be his adopted children through Jesus Christ,
simply because it pleased him to do so.
This he did for the praise of the glory of his grace,
of his free gift to us in his Beloved,
in whose blood we have gained redemption,
and the forgiveness of our sins.
This he did according to the riches of his grace,
which he gave us in abundance,
with all wisdom and discernment,
revealing to us the mysteries of his will,
because it pleased him to do so.
In this action he has planned, in the fulfilment of time,
to bring all things together in Christ,
from the heavens and from the earth.
Glory be to the Father and to the Son
and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning,
is now, and ever shall be,
world without end.
Amen.
The Son of God learned to obey through suffering, and he became the source of eternal salvation for all those who obey him. Alleluia.

You are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a consecrated nation, a people set apart to sing the praises of God who called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light. Once you were not a people at all and now you are the People of God; once you were outside the mercy and now you have been given mercy.

in Deo salvatóre meo,
dispérsit supérbos mente cordis sui;
depósuit poténtes de sede*
et exaltávit húmiles;
esuriéntes implévit bonis*
et dívites dimísit inánes.
Suscépit Israel púerum suum,*
recordátus misericórdiæ,
sicut locútus est ad patres nostros,*
Abraham et sémini eius in sǽcula.
Glória Patri et Fílio*
et Spirítui Sancto.
Sicut erat in princípio et nunc et semper*
et in sǽcula sæculórum.
Amen.

My soul rejoices in the LordI am the true vine, and my Father is the vine-dresser. Every branch that bears fruit he prunes to make it bear even more. Alleluia. (Year B)
Or: I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one can come to the Father except through me, alleluia.
My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord,
and my spirit rejoices in God, my salvation.
For he has shown me such favour –
me, his lowly handmaiden.
Now all generations will call me blessed,
because the mighty one has done great things for me.
His name is holy,
his mercy lasts for generation after generation
for those who revere him.
He has put forth his strength:
he has scattered the proud and conceited,
torn princes from their thrones;
but lifted up the lowly.
He has filled the hungry with good things;
the rich he has sent away empty.
He has come to the help of his servant Israel,
he has remembered his mercy as he promised to our fathers,
to Abraham and his children for ever.
Glory be to the Father and to the Son
and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning,
is now, and ever shall be,
world without end.
Amen.

Christum invocántes, vitam et resurrectiónem nostram, fidénter clamémus:
– Fili Dei vivi, tuére pópulum tuum.
Orámus te, Christe, pro Ecclésia tua cathólica;

Let us pray to Christ, our life and our resurrection.
– Son of the living God, protect your people.
We pray for your Catholic Church:
may she reveal among the nations your kingdom of justice and holiness.
– Son of the living God, protect your people.
We pray for the sick, the sorrowful, captives and exiles:
show them your power and compassion.
– Son of the living God, protect your people.
We pray for those who have lost you in the maze of life:
let them know once more the joy of coming home.
– Son of the living God, protect your people.
Crucified and risen Saviour, you will come again in judgement:
be merciful to us sinners.
– Son of the living God, protect your people.
We pray for all the living,
and for those who have left this world in the hope of the resurrection.
– Son of the living God, protect your people.

Pater noster, qui es in cælis:
sanctificétur nomen tuum;
advéniat regnum tuum;
fiat volúntas tua, sicut in cælo et in terra.
Panem nostrum cotidiánum da nobis hódie;
et dimítte nobis débita nostra,
sicut et nos dimíttimus debitóribus nostris;
et ne nos indúcas in tentatiónem;
sed líbera nos a malo.
| Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
|
Amen.
| Since it is from you, God our Father,
that redemption comes to us, your adopted children,
look with favour on the family you love,
give true freedom to us and to all who believe in Christ,
and bring us all alike to our eternal heritage.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
God, for ever and ever.
Amen.
|
Amen.
| The Lord bless us, and keep us from all evil, and bring us to everlasting life.
Amen.
