Deus, in adiutórium meum inténde.
Dómine, ad adiuvándum me festína.
Glória Patri et Fílio*
et Spirítui Sancto.
Sicut erat in princípio et nunc et semper*
et in sǽcula sæculórum.
Amen.
|
O God, come to our aid.
O Lord, make haste to help us.
Glory be to the Father and to the Son
and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning,
is now, and ever shall be,
world without end.
Amen.
|
Qua Christus hora sítiit
crucem vel in qua súbiit,
quos præstat in hac psállere
ditet siti iustítiæ.
Simul sit his esúries,
quam ipse de se sátiet,
crimen sit ut fastídium
virtúsque desidérium.
Charísma Sancti Spíritus
sic ínfluat psalléntibus,
ut carnis æstus frígeat
et mentis algor férveat.
Christum rogámus et Patrem,
Christi Patrísque Spíritum;
unum potens per ómnia,
fove precántes, Trínitas. Amen.

Lord God and Maker of all things,
Creation is upheld by you.
While all must change and know decay,
You are unchanging, always new.
You are man’s solace and his shield,
His Rock secure on which to build.
You are the spirit’s tranquil home,
In you alone is hope fulfilled.
To God the Father and the Son
And Holy Spirit render praise:
Blest Trinity, from age to age
The strength of all our living days.

Ps 123:1-8

Ps 124:1-5

In hoc est cáritas, non quasi nos dilexérimus Deum, sed quóniam ipse diléxit nos et misit Fílium suum propitiatiónem pro peccátis nostris.
|
This is the love I mean: not our love for God, but God’s love for us when he sent his Son to be the sacrifice that takes our sins away.
|
℣. Ecce ancílla Dómini.
℟. Fiat mihi secúndum verbum tuum.
| ℣. I am the servant of the Lord.
℟. Let it be done to me as you have said.
|
Oremus.
Amen.
| Let us pray.
Shape us in the likeness of the divine nature of our Redeemer,
whom we believe to be true God and true man,
since it was your will, Lord God,
that he, your Word, should take to himself our human nature
in the womb of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Who lives and reigns for ever and ever.
Amen.
|
Benedicámus Dómino.
– Deo grátias.
| Let us praise the Lord.
– Thanks be to God.
