Hymnus
Hæc hora, quæ resplénduit
crucísque solvit núbila,
mundum ténebris éxuens,
reddens seréna lúmina.
Hæc hora, qua resúscitans
Iesus sepúlcris córpora,
prodíre mortis líbera
iussit refúso spíritu.
Nováta sæcla crédimus
mortis solútis légibus,
vitæ beátæ múnera
cursum perénnem cúrrere.
Iesu, tibi sit glória,
qui morte victa prǽnites,
cum Patre et almo Spíritu,
in sempitérna sǽcula. Amen.
Hymn
Eternal Father, loving God,
Who made us from the dust of earth,
Transform us by the Spirit’s grace,
Give value to our little worth.
Prepare us for that day of days
When Christ from heaven will come with might
To call us out of dust again,
Our bodies glorified in light.
O Godhead, here untouched, unseen,
All things created bear your trace;
The seed of glory sown in man
Will flower when we see your face.
Stanbrook Abbey Hymnal

Ps 118:105-112
Meditatio verbi Domini in lege

  vivífica me secúndum verbum tuum.
108Voluntária oris mei beneplácita sint, Dómine,*
  et iudícia tua doce me.
109Anima mea in mánibus meis semper,*
et legem tuam non sum oblítus.
110Posuérunt peccatóres láqueum mihi,*
et de mandátis tuis non errávi.
111Heréditas mea testimónia tua in ætérnum,*
  quia exsultátio cordis mei sunt.
112Inclinávi cor meum ad faciéndas iustificatiónes tuas*
  in ætérnum, in finem.
Glória Patri et Fílio*
  et Spirítui Sancto.
Sicut erat in princípio et nunc et semper*
  et in sǽcula sæculórum.
Amen.

Psalm 118 (119): 105-112

Alleluia. Alleluia. Alleluia.
Your word is a lamp to guide my feet,
  a light for my journey.
I have firmly sworn to keep your just laws.
Lord, I am greatly afflicted:
revive me as you have promised.
Lord, accept the vows I make,
  and teach me your judgements.
I hold my life in my hands,
  I remember your laws.
The wicked placed a trap for me,
but I did not wander from your commandments.
Your decrees are my inheritance for ever,
they are the joy of my heart:
my heart is set on carrying them out,
  for ever, until the end.
Glory be to the Father and to the Son
  and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning,
is now, and ever shall be,
  world without end.
Amen.

Ps 69:2-6
Deus, in adiutorium meum intende

Domine, salva nos, perimus” (Mt 8, 25).

2Deus, in adiutórium meum inténde;*
  Dómine, ad adiuvándum me festína.
  Deus, ad me festína.
Adiútor meus et liberátor meus es tu;*
  Dómine, ne moréris.
Glória Patri et Fílio*
  et Spirítui Sancto.
Sicut erat in princípio et nunc et semper*
  et in sǽcula sæculórum.
Amen.

Psalm 69 (70)
God, come to my aid

God, come to my aid;
  Lord, hurry to help me.
Throw into fear and confusion
the ones who seek my life.
Throw them back, ashamed,
the ones who seek harm for me.
Turn them back in confusion,
  the ones who mock me.
But let all who seek you rejoice in you.
Let them always say ‘God is great,’
those who delight in your saving help.
But I am poor and destitute.
  God, hurry to me.
You are my helper and liberator:
  Lord, do not delay.
Glory be to the Father and to the Son
  and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning,
is now, and ever shall be,
  world without end.
Amen.

Ps 74:2-11
Dominus summus iudex

6Nolíte exaltáre in altum cornu vestrum;*
  nolíte loqui advérsus Deum protérva».
7Quia neque ab oriénte neque ab occidénte*
  neque a desértis exaltátio.
8Quóniam Deus iudex est:*
  hunc humíliat et hunc exáltat.
9Quia calix in manu Dómini*
  vini meri plenus mixto.
Et inclinávit ex hoc in hoc;†
  verúmtamen usque ad fæces epotábunt,*
  bibent omnes peccatóres terræ.
10Ego autem annuntiábo in sǽculum,*
  cantábo Deo Iacob.
11Et ómnia córnua peccatórum confríngam,*
  et exaltabúntur córnua iusti.
Glória Patri et Fílio*
  et Spirítui Sancto.
Sicut erat in princípio et nunc et semper*
  et in sǽcula sæculórum.
Amen.
Allelúia, allelúia, allelúia.

Psalm 74 (75)
The Lord, judge over all

We shall give you thanks, O God,
give thanks and call on your name.
  We shall recount your marvels.
At the moment that I have decreed
I shall hand down my judgements.
If the earth trembles with all that is in it,
it is I who set firm its pillars.
I have said to the boastful, ‘Stop boasting!’
I have said to the wicked, ‘Stop showing off your strength!’
Stop flaunting your strength to the heavens;
  stop speaking boldly against God!
For triumph does not come
  from the east or the west;
it does not come from the wilderness.
It is God who is the judge:
  he raises some, abases others.
The cup in the Lord’s hand
is foaming with wine that is drugged.
He pours it out and they will drain it.
All the sinners of the earth shall drink.
But I will proclaim him for ever,
and sing of the God of Jacob.
I will smash the strength of the wicked,
and the power of the just shall prevail.
Glory be to the Father and to the Son
  and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning,
is now, and ever shall be,
  world without end.
Amen.
Alleluia. Alleluia. Alleluia.
