Universalis on Windows

On Windows, the Catholic Calendar program and the Universalis program are the same thing.

One downloaded program gives you all the Catholic Calendar features plus a month's trial of the Universalis features.

Once you have decided that you want to have the full features of the Universalis program, you can unlock them by buying and entering a registration code.

System requirements

Any version of Windows: Windows 95, 98, Me, NT4, 2000, XP, Vista,...

You need 6MB of free disk space on your computer.

Downloading

Download the following file: UnivWin.exe.

Your browser may let you choose between opening the file and saving it. We usually prefer to save our downloaded files and open them separately later: if you do this, remember which folder (directory) your browser has saved the file into so that you can find it afterwards!

Installation

  1. Double-click on the UnivWin.exe file that you downloaded (depending on how your computer is set up, the icon may say "UnivWin" or "UnivWin.exe"), and follow the instructions.
  2. Once the installation has been completed, you can delete UnivWin.exe.

Operation

See the separate instructions.

Updating to a new version

From time to time we release new versions of the Universalis programs. You can update to the latest version free of charge simply by downloading and installing it on top of the version you already have.

To make sure that you don't miss an update, you may want to join the Universalis mailing list.
