If you have bought the Universalis app from Google Play, you will be able to install it on any other Android device that has Google Play. The rules of Google Play say that you can simply install all your purchased apps on your new Android device. The Google Play page explaining this is here (we last checked the link in August 2015).
If you have bought the Universalis app from Amazon, you will be able to install it on any other Android device. Amazon's site is chaotic and we can't give you a single link to instructions, but searching Google for "Amazon Appstore reinstall" will point you in the right direction. You need to have the Amazon Appstore app on your new device. If it isn't already there, here are Amazon's instructions for installing it.
Otherwise, if you bought from Google Play and your new device uses Amazon, you have to pay again. We recommend that you use your existing Android app to get a registration code from us at a discount: see below. Then, on your new device, get Catholic Calendar, which is free, and enter your registration code into it to remove the time limit. Instructions are here.
If you have bought the Universalis app for Android then you can use it to buy a registration code from our web site at a discount. The discount is intended to make up for the money you have already spent on the app. To get the discount, you need to make your purchase through the Universalis app. Full instructions are here.
If you have lost your Android device then you can install the Universalis app on another Android device. If you originally bought from Google Play, your new device has to use Google Play as well.
Otherwise, you have to proceed as if you had never bought Universalis at all, either buying a brand new registration code or buying an Android or iOS app. We always recommend registration codes, because then you are dealing directly with us, so we know who you are and we can look up your registration code if you lose it in the future. This page will get you going.
In either case, you have to cancel the subscription yourself. We aren't allowed to cancel it automatically for you.
Either: Open the Appstore app on your device, select "Subscriptions" from the menu at the top left, and look for a subscription to "Full Universalis content". If it's there, press the "Manage" button next to it. To cancel the subscription, turn off the "Auto-Renew" checkbox and press Save. (Confusingly, the "Cancel" button does nothing).
Or: Go to the Amazon web site and sign in to your account. In the Your Account menu, select "Your Apps & Devices" (not "Your Content and Devices", which is confusingly similar). From the Your Apps and Devices page, look for a link to Your Subscriptions on the left-hand side of the page, and look for a subscription to "Full Universalis content". There will be an "Actions" button next to it. To cancel the subscription, click the button and select the option to turn off auto-renewal.
You can either cancel through the Play Store app or through the Google Play web site. This Google Play support page has instructions for both methods.
