If you have previously bought a Universalis registration code, you don't need to pay again.
If you have previously bought a Universalis app for the iPhone / iPad / iPod Touch or the Mac, your best bet is to buy a registration code.
In principle, if you have paid for Universalis on Android once then you shouldn't need to pay for it again. But there are some subtleties.
If you have bought the Universalis app from Google Play, your purchase was made under the rules of Google Play. As we understand it, this should mean that you can simply install your purchased apps on your new device. But the rules are Google Play's, not ours, so please see their site for information and instructions.
If you have bought the Universalis app from the Amazon Appstore, your purchase was made under the Amazon's rules. As we understand it, this should mean that you can simply install your purchased apps on your new device. But the rules are Amazon's, not ours, so please see their site for information and instructions.
If you have bought the Universalis app from Google Play then you can't expect to get it free from the Amazon Appstore. The same applies the other way round. Google and Amazon are separate organizations and a purchase from one isn't a purchase from the other.
This can be troublesome if you move from one device to another. For instance, the Kindle Fire devices are made by Amazon and don't allow you access to Google Play.
If you are forced to move stores because you have moved devices then your best bet is to buy a registration code using the old device. It won't cost you any more than buying a new app from a new store, and it means that you'll never run into this trouble again.
