For all the saints who from their labours rest,
Who thee by faith before the world confessed,
Thy name, O Jesu, be for ever blest.
Alleluia, Alleluia!
Thou wast their rock, their fortress and their might;
Thou, Lord, their captain in the well-fought fight;
Thou in the darkness drear their one true Light.
Alleluia, Alleluia!
O may thy soldiers, faithful, true and bold,
Fight as the saints who nobly fought of old,
And win, with them, the victor’s crown of gold.
Alleluia, Alleluia!
O blest communion! fellowship divine!
We feebly struggle, they in glory shine;
Yet all are one in thee, for all are thine.
Alleluia, Alleluia!

God the SaviourGod chose us in his Son and made us his adopted sons.
Blessed be God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
who has blessed us, in Christ,
with every spiritual blessing in heaven.
In love, he chose us before the creation of the world,
to be holy and spotless in his sight.
He predestined us to be his adopted children through Jesus Christ,
simply because it pleased him to do so.
This he did for the praise of the glory of his grace,
of his free gift to us in his Beloved,
in whose blood we have gained redemption,
and the forgiveness of our sins.
This he did according to the riches of his grace,
which he gave us in abundance,
with all wisdom and discernment,
revealing to us the mysteries of his will,
because it pleased him to do so.
In this action he has planned, in the fulfilment of time,
to bring all things together in Christ,
from the heavens and from the earth.
Glory be to the Father and to the Son
and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning,
is now, and ever shall be,
world without end.
Amen.
God chose us in his Son and made us his adopted sons.

We know that by turning everything to their good, God co-operates with all those who love him, with all those he has called according to his purpose. They are the ones he chose specially long ago and intended to become true images of his Son, so that his Son might be the eldest of many brothers. He called those he intended for this; those he called he justified, and with those he justified he shared his glory.

The Lord is good; he loves good deeds.
– The Lord is good; he loves good deeds.
His face is turned towards the upright man.
– The Lord is good; he loves good deeds.
Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit.
– The Lord is good; he loves good deeds.

Exsultatio animæ in DominoAmen dico vobis: Quod uni ex his mínimis meis fecístis, mihi fecístis. Veníte, benedícti Patris mei, possidéte parátum vobis regnum ab inítio mundi.
Magníficat*
ánima mea Dóminum,
et exsultávit spíritus meus*
in Deo salvatóre meo,
dispérsit supérbos mente cordis sui;
depósuit poténtes de sede*
et exaltávit húmiles;
esuriéntes implévit bonis*
et dívites dimísit inánes.
Suscépit Israel púerum suum,*
recordátus misericórdiæ,
sicut locútus est ad patres nostros,*
Abraham et sémini eius in sǽcula.
Glória Patri et Fílio*
et Spirítui Sancto.
Sicut erat in princípio et nunc et semper*
et in sǽcula sæculórum.
Amen.
Amen dico vobis: Quod uni ex his mínimis meis fecístis, mihi fecístis. Veníte, benedícti Patris mei, possidéte parátum vobis regnum ab inítio mundi.

My soul rejoices in the LordTruly I tell you, anything you did for the least of these who are mine, you did for me. Come, you blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.
My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord,
and my spirit rejoices in God, my salvation.
For he has shown me such favour –
me, his lowly handmaiden.
Now all generations will call me blessed,
because the mighty one has done great things for me.
His name is holy,
his mercy lasts for generation after generation
for those who revere him.
He has put forth his strength:
he has scattered the proud and conceited,
torn princes from their thrones;
but lifted up the lowly.
He has filled the hungry with good things;
the rich he has sent away empty.
He has come to the help of his servant Israel,
he has remembered his mercy as he promised to our fathers,
to Abraham and his children for ever.
Glory be to the Father and to the Son
and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning,
is now, and ever shall be,
world without end.
Amen.
Truly I tell you, anything you did for the least of these who are mine, you did for me. Come, you blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.

Let us ask the Father to lead us to holiness through the intercession and example of the saints.
– Make us holy as you are holy.
Father, it was your will that we be called your children, and that is what we are;
may your Church all over the world bear witness to your goodness.
– Make us holy as you are holy.
Father, you have called us to walk in your light and do always the things that please you;
may our lives be rich in every kind of good work.
– Make us holy as you are holy.
Father, through Christ you have reconciled us to yourself;
keep us in your name that we may all be one.
– Make us holy as you are holy.
Father, you have invited us to the festival of eternal life;
make us perfect in your love through the bread that comes from heaven.
– Make us holy as you are holy.
Father, grant all sinners peace and forgiveness;
let the dead live in the light of your presence.
– Make us holy as you are holy.

Pater noster, qui es in cælis:
sanctificétur nomen tuum;
advéniat regnum tuum;
fiat volúntas tua, sicut in cælo et in terra.
Panem nostrum cotidiánum da nobis hódie;
et dimítte nobis débita nostra,
sicut et nos dimíttimus debitóribus nostris;
et ne nos indúcas in tentatiónem;
sed líbera nos a malo.
| Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

Deus, qui sanctum Camíllum, presbýterum, caritátis in infírmos singulári grátia decorásti, eius méritis, spíritum nobis tuæ dilectiónis infúnde, ut, tibi in frátribus serviéntes, ad te hora éxitus nostri secúri transíre possímus.
Per Dóminum nostrum Iesum Christum, Fílium tuum,
qui tecum vivit et regnat in unitáte Spíritus Sancti, Deus,
per ómnia sǽcula sæculórum.
Amen.
| Almighty, ever-living God,
you gave your priest Saint Camillus
an extraordinary love for the sick.
Help us, through his intercession,
to love and serve you in your brethren,
so that, at the hour of our death,
we may come before you in confidence.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
God, for ever and ever.
Amen.
|
Dóminus nos benedícat, et ab omni malo deféndat, et ad vitam perdúcat ætérnam.
Amen.
| The Lord bless us, and keep us from all evil, and bring us to everlasting life.
Amen.
