Deus, in adiutórium meum inténde.
Dómine, ad adiuvándum me festína.
Glória Patri et Fílio*
et Spirítui Sancto.
Sicut erat in princípio et nunc et semper*
et in sǽcula sæculórum.
Amen.

O God, come to our aid.
O Lord, make haste to help us.
Glory be to the Father and to the Son
and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning,
is now, and ever shall be,
world without end.
Amen.
|
Dei fide, qua vívimus,
qua spe perénni crédimus,
per caritátis grátiam
Christi canámus glóriam,
Qui ductus hora tértia
ad passiónis hóstiam,
crucis ferens suspéndia
ovem redúxit pérditam.
Precémur ergo súbditi,
redemptióne líberi,
ut éruat a sǽculo
quos solvit a chirógrapho.
Christum rogámus et Patrem,
Christi Patrísque Spíritum;
unum potens per ómnia,
fove precántes, Trínitas. Amen.

Come, Holy Spirit, live in us
With God the Father and the Son,
And grant us your abundant grace
To sanctify and make us one.
May mind and tongue made strong in love
Your praise throughout the world proclaim,
And may that love within our hearts
Set fire to others with its flame.
Most blessèd Trinity of love,
For whom the heart of man was made,
To you be praise in timeless song,
And everlasting homage paid.

Thesaurizábit rectóribus sollértiam et clípeus erit gradiéntibus simplíciter servans sémitas iustítiæ et vias sanctórum custódiens.

He keeps his help for honest men, he is the shield of those whose ways are honourable; he stands guard over the paths of justice, he keeps watch on the way of his devoted ones.

℣. Constítuit eum dóminum domus suæ.
℟. Et príncipem omnis possessiónis suæ.
| ℣. He made him master of his house.
℟. He constituted him ruler of all he possessed.
|
Oremus.
Præsta, quǽsumus, omnípotens Deus, ut humánæ salútis mystéria, cuius primórdia beáti Ioseph fidéli custódiæ commisísti, Ecclésia tua, ipso intercedénte, iúgiter servet implénda.
Per Christum Dóminum nostrum.
Amen.
| Let us pray.
Almighty God,
at the beginnings of our salvation,
when Mary conceived your Son and brought him forth into the world,
you placed them under Joseph’s watchful care.
May his prayer still help your Church
to be an equally faithful guardian of your mysteries
and a sign of Christ to mankind.
Through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
|
Benedicámus Dómino.
– Deo grátias.
| Let us praise the Lord.
– Thanks be to God.
