These are the instructions for the Universalis application. See additional instructions for Catholic Calendar.
Universalis has two screens: the calendar screen and the text screen.


To
get from the text screen to the calendar screen: Tap the button at
the top left of the screen. (On the iPad, the calendar
screen floats on top of the text screen; on the smaller devices, the calendar
screen replaces the text screen).
To
get from the calendar screen to the text screen: Tap the button at
the top left of the screen, or tap on the date whose text you want to view.
(On the iPad, you can also tap anywhere outside the calendar
area).
To
go to any date you want: Tap the button at the top right to open
Apple's date picker. (On the iPad, the date picker is
always visible).
To
return the calendar to today's date: Tap on the star at the bottom
left.
To
use a different local calendar: Tap on the cogwheel at the bottom
right.
To
choose the Hour you want to view, tap on the tool at the top right-hand
corner.
To make the text larger, double-tap in the centre of the screen.
You can view the text page by page, or as a single scrolling page. To switch from one mode to the other, see "Extra tools: Settings", below.

When viewing text page by page:
To see the extra tools, tap in the middle of the screen. The tools will appear across the top of the screen.
Settings
lets you choose the following:
Information
tells you about the Universalis program.
Print
prints the current page. For this to work, you need to have your system set
up to allow printing from your device. At the time of writing, very few
systems are set up like this (it requires special software on your computer,
or one of a very limited range of printers) but this may change in the future.
Fonts
lets you choose the font you want to use for display.
